Beth joined Script IP in late 2024, following the completion of her Wellcome Trust funded PhD in Dynamic Molecular Cell Biology at the University of Bristol. Prior to this she completed a Masters by Research in Biological Sciences, and a Bachelors in Medical Sciences with a Professional Training Year (PTY) both from the University of Exeter. Through the award of numerous travel grants, Beth has presented and communicated her research to a wide array of audiences at both national and international conferences.
Beth has 7 years of academic lab experience and has contributed to a large array of different research projects. She has worked on various cell biology projects and is particularly interested in the mechanisms underpinning human diseases. Throughout her time in academia, Beth gained extensive experience in assisting undergraduates through the supervision and teaching of a range of practical skills in different Biochemistry modules.
